Kalillo is facilitated by Calvert Lawson, an African Carribean musician and youth worker, who lives and is based in Wolverhampton. Calvert enjoys sharing African and Carribean drumming skills with the local and wider community in workshops, schools, projects, community events, therapy, and consultation.

At times he is aided by by other musicians such as Josie Parker and Charley Littleford and can also arrange a work shop dance tutor on request.
